WI result 24th September 2007


This week I managed to lose 4.5lbs. I am so happy with this because I have been good and I was very good last week and lost 1lb. It now means I have lost 154.5lbs in total which in real terms is 11 stone and 1/2lb. I would also like to add that to get to a goal of 9 stone 7 which I might settle for as my ultimate goal I now have less than 5 stone to lose.

Tonight I've just had a treat after dinner and on Wednesday I am out for dinner after work so I'm being good the rest of the week. I'll be happy with any loss this week.

Anyway that's it from me for this evening. I keep promising I'll write a tracker to post on here and I will try and do that next week. It certainly won't be this week though as I forgot to get one at meeting so I'll use my journal and hope for the best.

Wow - how do you manage to shed weight week on week? Especially those weeks (like this one) where you lose 4.5Ib?

Gawd, I'm lucky if I lose 7Ib over a whole calendar month! LOL.

You are doing sooooo well!

Hi Lins,

Thank you. I think this week was a result of the added exercise and not craving sweet things this week. I went to a circuits class on Sunday evening and at high intensity, it was worth 9 extra activity points. I also found I wanted to eat healthy food so although I did the points plan, I basically stuck to core foods all week.

Thank you for your congratulations. I know I am very lucky to lose every week but I do everything by the book so as long as I continue to do that, I can't see there being a problem with my losses.

It'll be a pound next week, you wait and see. I've had the munchies today and am out for dinner at a Mexican restaurant tomorrow evening.

Mmm, I know that I really have to up my exercise! 3 strolls around the block with the dogs really isn't enough. I don't know whether I'd have the nerve to go back to the gym yet...

I'm sure you'll see another loss for next week. Even if it is just a pound. Each and every pound adds up after all ;-)

You enjoy your Mexican meal out tomorrow. You've done sooo well and you deserve a little treat now and then. Still, I expect you'll be able to make some good food choices!

Well done Vicky! Another 4.5lbs is fantastic!

Just proves that when you're dedicated enough to put the time and effort into losing weight and getting healthy, you see the results you want! That gives me hope!

You're an inspiration!

I started in September 2005 at 22st 6.5lb and lost a regular half stone a month for the first year, then for some reason lost the plot, and was losing and gaining within a half stone range for most of the second year.

That was when I got my Monthly Pass with esource and found your blog. Because of you, I have now pulled myself together and started setting small targets in the way that you do, and it's working! I just managed to reach 7 stone off before my second anniversary, and my next goal is my 100lb certificate (1.5lb to go now), then it will be to be 14st something, like you.
