It was my turn to look stupid today. We were crossing Dartmoor and stopped to admire the view. Never one to miss an opportunity to take pictures I got out of the car to take a few. After I had done so I turned round to go back to the car and fell over a rock!!! Luckily I did not hurt myself although I do have a nice long scratch up my leg better than any cat could do.
We were crossing the Moor on our way to Tavistock. There is an indoor market there which we always visit. There are all types of stalls there selling a wide range of items from food to clothes to jewellery to antiques to pet food. Every year I buy a new purse and handbag and this year was no exception. I brought a pink handbag which I have been looking for for ages so I am happy.
We came back via Plymouth to Totnes as we were going to go to a pub called the Smugglers for dinner. However, it strikes me that everyone in Devon either eats very early or late as it was 1407 and they had stopped serving food (remember the Swans nest stopped at 1400 t00). We ended up stopping at KFC and having a burger and taking it back to the lodge.
We had a quiet day the rest of the day. We were going out in the evening but again all of us were too tired so we decided against it although mum and I did walk up to pick the pictures we had taken last night (I'll post more about them later). We also went to Salisbury's to get some water and fresh bread.
Here is what I ate today:
Weetaflakes
6 or 7 wine gums
KFC burget, 1 piece of chicken and handful of chips
Fruit Salad from Sainsburys
Turkey Salad sandwich on WW bread
Packet WW biscuits
WW Yoghurt
I was absolutely stuffed after eating all that today. Tomorrow I'm going to try and eat light.
